Eshu Bumpus captivates his audience by telling a variety of African, African-American and World folktales leavened with music, humor and mystery. Eshu is a renowned storyteller, an accomplished jazz vocalist and a master at physical characterization. He has performed on the Exchange Place stage at the National Festival (1998), and performed 36 sold out shows in 13 days at the Smithsonian (1997). For a lively Saturday morning full of music, magic, and lots of fun, visit the Village Commons in South Hadley, MA! Performances run throughout the summer, beginning July 8th, and include Tom Ricardi and his birds of prey, Trevor the Games Man, music from Roger Tincknell, and magic by Ed Popielarczyk! These hour-long events are free and held outdoors in the courtyard in front of the Odyssey Bookshop. In case of rain, entertainment will be held inside the bookstore. No RSVP required, just show up!
