Activate Comic Con for Teens: A Virtual Comic Con with an Activist Twist

About The Event

Take your fandom to the next level at ACTIVATE, a brand new, fully virtual fan convention, completely free for Massachusetts teens between the ages of 12-20. Celebrate what you love while also interacting with a diverse group of artists, writers, voice actors, and other industry professionals. Learn how you can use your passions for anime, comics, writing, gaming and more to boost social justice.

Brought to you by your local public libraries: Brockton Public Library, Holyoke Public Library, Lawrence Public Library, Peabody Institute Library in Peabody, Springfield City Library, Turner Free Library in Randolph, Ventress Memorial Library in Marshfield, Waltham Public Library, Worcester Public Library, and LITT, the Library Initiative for Teens and Tweens.

Registration is FREE and required. This event is open to Massachusetts teens ages 12-20 only. All sessions will be offered using Zoom and a link will be sent upon registration and before the event date. Interested teens without access to the Internet, computer, or Smartphone should contact your local public library, or one of the host libraries, to speak to a librarian about how they might be able to help.  Register online here.
