It’s 6:00 — Do You Know What You’re Making for Dinner? Presented by Odyssey Bookshop, this book talk, cooking demo, and tasting with Nava Atlas, author of 5-Ingredient Vegan, will teach you how to plan and prepare quick meals with fresh produce and healthy shortcuts.
Often, when people consider improving their diet or ultimately going vegan, one of the main obstacles is the eternal question of “What’s for dinner?” There’s also the notion that healthy cooking is time-consuming, complicated, and expensive.
This talk, demo, and tasting will show how easy it is to make amazing dinners even after long, tiring days. Combining fresh produce with natural readymade sauces and other convenient ingredients that can be found in most supermarkets, the audience will learn how to make a healthy, tasty, plant-based dinner any day of the week in 20 minutes — or less!
The presentation will also discuss the benefits — both personal and environmental — of adopting a plant-based diet.
